William Hutchinson

Chairman

Since joining Thomas Global Systems in 1986, William Hutchinson has been instrumental in the transformation of Thomas Global Systems into an international leader in display technology and electronic systems solutions for commercial and defense markets.

Prior to joining Thomas Global, Mr. Hutchinson spent 12 years in a variety of process industry roles, predominantly with Exxon Corporation following his graduation in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Mr. Hutchinson is a member of the National Executives of the Australian Industry Group (Ai Group) and the AiGroup Defence Council and a Director of the Export Council of Australia. He is the Chairman of the NSW Government’s Defence Innovation Network (DIN). He received an Export Heroes Award from the Australia Institute of Export for achievements in developing Australian export business.
