Kars Meyboom

Kars Meyboom has spent most of his professional life in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, holding senior management positions across the world with Heineken and the global Coffee & Tea Division of Sara Lee Corporation. In 1997, Mr. Meyboom relocated to Australia, as CEO of the Coffee and Bakery activities of Sara Lee Corporation in Australasia and subsequently in Asia Pacific.

In 2006, Mr. Meyboom joined Huhtamaki Oy to manage and restructure its Australasian packaging businesses. Following his retirement from executive roles in 2010, Mr. Meyboom is active as a non-executive director of private and family-owned companies in a wide range of industries.

Mr. Meyboom was educated in the Netherlands (Erasmus University, Rotterdam, MBA 1979).
