Thomas Global launches TFD-4000 LCD Retrofit for Bombardier CRJ Series Flight Decks
IRVINE, California and SYDNEY, Australia: Thomas Global Systems has expanded the application of its pioneering plug-and-play CRT-to-LCD flight displays innovation with the launch of the TFD-4000 Series LCD display solution for Bombardier CRJ Series and other Collins Aerospace Pro Line 4 flight decks.
A prominent North American regional carrier has selected the TFD-4000 for its CRJ fleet.

Like Thomas Global’s TFD-7000 Series displays currently being installed on Boeing 757/767/737 CRT-equipped aircraft, the TFD-4000 Series offers operators a lighter, more reliable, and lower lifecycle cost replacement for legacy CRT technology, with in-built capability for future additional functionality. Its inventive plug-and-play design enables cost-effective installation on overnights or at the gate, with no flight or maintenance crew retraining required.
The TFD-4000 Series plug-and-play LCD solution replaces legacy Collins Aerospace EFD-4076 CRT displays currently installed on Bombardier CRJ Series and other Pro-Line 4 aircraft. The TFD-4000 Series displays are both interchangeable and intermixable with the existing legacy EFD-4076 CRT displays and are common across the CRJ Series.
